Is Air Asia safe for traveling? See what one of his pilot said!

12 days ago, Gaurav Taneja a pilot from Air Asia raised some important flight safety issues in air Asia airlines.

First of all we should know about Air Asia

Air Asia is a Malaysian low cost airline headquarter near Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. It is the largest airline in Malaysia by fleet size and destination.

Air Asia group operates scheduled domestic and international flights to more than 165 destinations Spanning 25 countries. Its main hub is Kila2.

Its affiliate airlines Thai Air Asia, Indonesia Air Asia, Philippines Air Asia, Air Asia India and Air Asia Japan.

It's just a short brief...

Now we come to the point Where one of his pilot  Gaurav Taneja alleged violation of Safety norms on Air Asia.

He said about three major points regarding safety issue. Lets see what's that

1- Sick Leave

Gourav said that if you take a sick leave in Air Asia, then it is counted as an off day which is a very irrevelant decisions for pilots of Air Asia. If any one of pilot is ill or not in condition to take charge then in this situation Air Asia is not more concerned about pilot health. They forced the pilot to take charge as financially. Which is not fine,A pilot should be properly heathy physically as well as Mentally during flying an aeroplane.

2- Pressuring Pilots to use Flap-3 Landings

First of all you should know about what is flaps:-
if you have ever seen outside the window of your aeroplane while landing then you might have observed that the person beneath the wing start to tilt
This part is called flap

you can control several aspects of lending by determining how open or how closed the flap is

If the flaps are open all the way ,then it is called a full flap position. If they are not open all the way there is a position in between the flap-3 position.

In the full flap position the aeroplane would descend slowly.you would have more time and more control over the aeroplane because of slow decent.
Whereas in flap-3 position the speed of the aeroplane would be slightly more during the decent.

According to Gaurav Taneja

- both flap 3 and flap full are recommend configuration for landing both are safe, but the pilot needs to evaluate the conditions for both before he makes a landing.
the fact that matter is that if left 3 landing saves fuel and all the airlines recommendedthe  but many of the times it is not safe due to weather condition or due to short runway.

He says Air Asia forces its pilot to ensure that 98% of their landings are flap 3 landings, if they want bonus So,pressure is mounted on them subconsciously to encourage them to opt for flap 3 landings.

which is a risky decision for the safety of passengers in the airport where are flaps 3 landing would not be the right choice.

3- Ignorance of DGCA circulars on covid-19 safety of passengers.

He said Air Asia is not concerned about Covid-19 and about its impact. There is lack of Safety ensurement to the passengers & to all of the employee.

After Revealing the truth about Safety norms
Air Asia suspended Gourav Taneja!
Which's not fine.

Now the point is that Air Asia should respond to these questions.

We want to see what answer does Air Asia have to the three safety issues that have been raised.

The Air Asia must say something either accept or deny these allegations.

please share this article that it Mount pressure on Air Asia to respond to the question of whether our safety in danger or not.
